NEW ORLEANS – Dr. Samer Shamieh will be featured as a panelist for the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association at their Annual Meeting on February 16th.
Dr. Shamieh’s conversation will focus on spondylolisthesis. Spondylolisthesis occurs when a lumbar vertebra slips forward. It can occur because of a birth defect, trauma, or disease. More information on this condition can be found here.
Dr. Shamieh serves on the board of directors for The Louisiana Orthopaedic Association. The LOA is a state society of orthopaedic surgeons looking to encourage, develop, and increase the knowledge of orthopaedic surgery among its members.
